The history group are a friendly bunch who investigate and report back to the group, on different aspects of history.

Topics covered in the last year include ;

• British Prime Ministers
• The decolonisation of Africa
• Pandemics and Epidemics
• Irish history up to 1922

Future topics include:

• The history of the Space Race
• A history of film
• The development of China in the twentieth century

In the spirit of u3a, we all research one area of a topic and present our findings for approx. 10 minutes, so we can discuss them. Everyone contributes and there are no passengers in this group!
