When: Monthly on Friday mornings 9:30 am

We share a short walk, at a very slow pace dictated by regular stops to examine members finds. Plants, fungi, insects, birds, fish and mammals (and everything else) are all grist to our shared mill. Recourse to field guides where necessary is all part of finding stuff out!

Recent trips have uncovered Grey Seals on the Swale, Bee Orchids at Milton Creek and Spoonbills at Oare.

Recent venues have included:

August 2024 – Eternal Lake, Cliffe (Private nature reserve)

September 2024 – Bedgebury Pinetum (Forestry England)

October 2024 – Oare Nature Reserve (KWT)

Venue: A different site each month
