East Medway u3a is governed by the vision, principles and values of the Third Age Trust. Therefore, the committee is expected to deliver the minimum requirement. These policies and procedures are described in the "Mandatory and Recommended Policies". As many of these requirements have been issued relatively recently your committee is working to the spirit of the requirements and is working to get the written policies and procedures in place. We are currently working on the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion policy, which when ratified by the committee will be added.
The committee and the Group Coordinators are responsible for providing risk assessments of the meeting and group's venues. These are available on request.
